In Alaska Pat honed his love for the outdoors, climbing and skiing in the mountain ranges surrounding Anchorage, sailing the waters of Resurrection Bay or flying over the Kenai Peninsula. Pat earned his “Alaska driver’s license”, i.e., his private pilot’s license in 1986. He twice survived the infamous Mount Marathon Race in Seward. Passionate about the outdoors and natural scenic beauty, the move to the Willamette Valley was a natural fit for Pat and his family.
